Tom, at the wheel of the Easter Bell, came into port one year on the Saturday between Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
And it isn't likely Bell's ship would get in any other time, said the lighthouse-keeper. There be Christmas ships, and Easter ships, and some that wait for the Michaelmas-tide; but, as every one knows, the Easter Bell gets home at Easter-time, and when she doesn't, I'll know she's dead and buried, and poor Tom Breton with her.
