Zeitpunkt, wo die Romer am langstcn Tag nach unserer Uhr zu Tische gingen, auf 2 Uhr 31 Minuten nachmittags, indem er von der Voraussetzung ausgeht, daß es mit dem Anfang der neunten Stunde geschah. Gründe fur diese Entscheidung werden in den meisten Fällen nicht angegeben, nur hie und da wird Martialis IV, 8 als eine Stelle ange zogen, die fur die Bedeutung des Zeitraums der laufenden Stunde sprechen soll.
