The research was prompted as a result of increasing rate of car theft in every part of the world which has reached an alarming rate. This research was to provide a lasting solution to the rate at which cars are being stolen by exploring the GSM technology coupled with some digital control techniques as possible remedy. This book will familiarize every reader to the design and practice of the car anti-theft system via GSM network. Aside from the drawback of inconsistency in the availability of GSM network in most part of the world, the project will be an revolutionary improvement in the defense and security sector of the country.

About the author

Kolapo S. Alli received the B.Tech. (Hons.) LAUTECH, M.Sc degree in electronicand electrical engineering from OAU, Nig. He is with the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, Nig. His research interests include system securities, online experimentation and computational intelligence and its apps.
