Excerpt from Report Of The Second Norwegian Arctic Expedition in The Fram, 1898-1902, Vol. 4: Published By Videnskabs-Selskabet I Kristiania, At The Expense Of The Fridjof Nansen Fund For The Advancement Of Science

The limestone in which the fossil remains were found i pieces, is a very fine crystalline yellowish - grey rock.

As regards the fossil remains themselves, they are deplora mentary. We have some incomplete pieces of a quite small form: some free cheeks, a very imperfect specimen of the central part of the head shield and one incomplete pygidium.
