Die Reisen, welche ich in den Jahren 1826 und 1827 in dem Grossherzogthume Luxemburg machte, zeigten mir aber: deutlicher, als ich es fr¿her einsah, dass dem Kalke_ der Ardennen, welcher dem eifel-kalke durch sein Alter und seine lagerungs-verh¿nisse entspricht, noch ein schichten-system aufgelagert ist, welches aus sandsteinartig¿ Grauwacke und aus Konglomeraten besteht, die den eifel-kalk von dem j¿ngern Kohlen - Gebirge an der Maas trennen.
