Die Herausgabe dieses Bandes hat, wie nicht anders zu erwarten war, erheblich mehr Mühe gemacht, als die der früheren; eine grosse Menge von Schreibfehlern, namentlich in den Ziffern, sind durch Vergleichung der Originalquellen verbessert worden. Dass keiner übersehen worden sei, mochte ich nicht behaupten; alle Citate nachzuschlagen, wurde das Maass von Geduld übefsteigen das mir zu Gebote steht.
