Vicarages. The number of Episcopal Chapels is about 110, and'th'ey are mostly Perpetual Curacies. Dissenters are numerous in all parts of the county, especially the Independents, Baptists, and Wesleyans, who have many large and handsome chapels. Though the Roman Catholics have but few chapels in the county, they have recently founded monastic institutions at Mount St. Bernard's and Gracedieu, anda college among the Ratcli¿'e hills, near Cossington.
