The Effect of Dietary Vitamin C on Osteogenesis of Expanding Midpalata

Retention of the expanded suture is an interesting issue in orthodontics. Some researchers have evaluated many substances on osteogenesis of the expanding suture. Vitamin C is known as an essential factor for osteogenesis. Is it possible to increase osteogenesis of the expanding suture by consuming vitamin C? How can we increase retention of the expanded suture? Are there any differences between the effect of vitamin C on rats and human beings? This book is written based on my two years research on this topic. The results are interesting to read!

About the author

Sanaz Soheilifar: born in 1983 in Hamadan, Iran. Studied dentistry at Shahid Beheshti Dental school in Tehran, Iran, and graduated in 2007. Then studied orthodontics at Hamadan University in Hamadan, and graduated in 2011. This book is based on her thesis as a postgraduate student at Hamadan University of medical sciences.
