Climate is changing which is an established fact and human activities (mainly developed countries) are responsible for rapid changing of climatic indicators. Bangladesh is one of the most vulnerable country towards climate change phenomenon. North-western region of Bangladesh is mainly vulnerable for drought and is an important agricultural hub. Changing pattern of climatic indicators influences this regions hydrological cycle which is causing hydrological drought and climatological drought. The drought phenomenon has devastating impact on agricultural economy as well as on environment.
