Applied problems of gas and hydrodynamics

The book is targeted at the specialists of gas and hydrodynamics and is dedicated to the applied problems in this field of physics. It is shown that the contemporary concept on sound is fair only for homogeneous medium; however it is also applied to inhomogeneous media which often leads to contradictory results. Vladimir G. Kirtskhalia, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor.Born May 24, 1947 in the city of Sukhumi (Abkhazia, Georgia). In 1971 he graduated Tbilisi State University majoring in "Theoretical Physics" .. Engaged in research and teaching work at the Sukhumi Institute of Physics and Technology in Sukhumi State University.
