World is suffering from severe energy crisis and requires an efficient renewable energy sources. Consumption of fossil fuels results in environmental pollution, which in turn produces serious climate changes. Burning of fossil fuels is causing the depletion of energy sources throughout the World. Secondly, the temperature of earth is increasing sharply, due to increasing amount of greenhouse gases, resulting in hazardous climate changes. Deforestation is another major contributing factor that favors greenhouse effect.The purpose of the study is to compare the individual performances of two different local saline water grass species in plant microbial fuel cell.

About the author










She has done her M. Phil in Chemistry from University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore. She has full knowledge of Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry. She has done her research on "ELECTRICITY GENERATION BY MEDIATOR LESS PLANT MICROBIAL FUEL CELL USING RHIZODEPOSITS" which is a new research in Pakistan.
