The Labor Contract Law of the People's Republic of China was adopted on June 29, 2007 and became effective on January 1, 2008. It was revised by the top Chinese legislature on December 28, 2012. The application of Labor Contract Law is extremely important. It also aims to provide better protection for the legal rights of Chinese workers.
