This book takes you to how design and implement a DSP processor on a reconfigurable system on chip such as FPGA. It also shows ways and techniques to develop the base-line design of the DSP processors. This type of processor working on vector and matrix manipulations, so the developing techniques take care of this types of calculation. Many benchmarking tests were made to proof the prototypes performance. The results show about 9 times of improvement can be reached comparing to the base-line design. All the prototypes implementations and tests are done on Xilinx Vertix boards.
