This is the first work describing the ability of mangrove fungi isolated from different localities on the Red Sea Coast of Saudi Arabia to grow and degrade the waste materials.These microbes as well as their consortium were studied with their enzymes and the active isolates were selected and its ability for degrading many urban waste were detected.This environmental clean up is a useful tool to decrease the pollution along the Saudi Red Sea Coast.
