Informationen zum Autor Lindsay Paterson is professor of educational policy at the University of Edinburgh. He has written and lectured widely on the sociology and politics of education, on the relationship among education, democracy and civil society, and on the history of Scottish education in the twentieth century. He is the author or joint author of 13 books, 27 chapters in academic books, 71 refereed papers in academic journals, 18 chapters in other books, 10 commissioned reports on research, and numerous articles in non-academic journals and other publications. He is a frequent contributor to the broadcast and print media on themes relating to education, politics and civic values.
