This Sandwich ELISA is an easy, convenient, rapid, economic and easily reproducible method for diagnosis of Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis virus (Bovine Herpesvirus Type-1) under field conditions.Three small letters i.e. IBR or Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis can make a big impact. It can close down export markets or simply impair health within the herd.ELISA offers the potential of providing for both simple qualitative tests in which the presence or absence of an infecting agent can be determined and quantitative assays in which the amount of antigen can be determined by accurate measurement of substrate products.
