Manipulating the sex of offspring has been a dream of the cattle industry for decades.Sexing of embryos before transfer and implanting has great potential for the livestock industry.In this context a better way of sex determination in a non invasive manner has become an imperative for the utilization of the sexed embryos. Hence this book addresses the method of sexing of preimplantation buffalo embryos based on early cleavage rates and gives a glimpse of the influence of glucose on the sex ratio of early cleaved buffalo embryos in vitro

About the author

Dr. D. Gopikrishnan earned his Masters Degree in Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics with specialization in Reproductive Biotechnology from Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. He is currently pursuing his Doctoral Programme in the same University. He has authored few research publications in Assisted Reproductive Technology
