The synthesis of quinoline quinone and the corresponding coupling reaction with diamines affords phenoxazinones which on coupling reaction with aryl triolbotates in the copper catalyzed reaction, yields N-arylation derivatives of the phenoxzazinones. The importanc of copper catalysis covers a wide range of interest in synthetic organic chemistry and it creates a gate way for further research areas in organic chemistry.
