Research indicates that attitudes of both teachers and learners play an essential role in language learning. Accordingly, this study attempts to elicit EFL learners' and teachers' beliefs and attitudes regarding the use of authentic reading materials at the college level in Saudi Arabia. The results of the study contribute to the general fields of foreign language instruction and applied linguistics.
