About the author

Nancy Grimm teaches at Michigan Technological University. She has been involved with the MTU Writing Center for more than twenty years and has directed it since 1985. Grimm has served as executive secretary of the National Writing Centers Association, coeditor of The Writing Center Journal, and executive board member of the Midwest Writing Centers Association.
