The book culminates theoretical and phenomenological studies on mesons, specifically, heavy-flavoured mesons in the light of non-perturbative phenomenological potential model inspired by Nambu strings. Within the potential model approach, higher dimensional non-relativistic Schrödinger equation is used to get the meson wave function which is then further utilized to study static and dynamic properties of heavy flavoured mesons. The book mainly concentrates on the studies of Isgur-Wise Function and its derivatives like slope and curvature of heavy-light pseudo-scalar mesons. Mass being a fundamental property of a physical system, a part of the book is also devoted to the studies of masses of heavy flavoured mesons in higher dimension.
