This is related to production and production technology of cotton. Cotton is leading worldwide fiber and cash crop that is grown commercially for agricultural and industrial purposes in the tropical and temperate region of more than fifty countries. Although cotton is mainly grown for fiber purpose but it has many valuable uses as its seed comprises of 30% starch, 25% crude oil and 16.2% protein. Current estimates for world production are about 25 million tons or 110 million bales annually, accounting for 2.5% of the world's arable land.
