1968 machten die amerikanischen Architekten Robert Venturi, Denise Scott Brown und Steven Izenour Las Vegas zum Gegenstand ihrer Forschung. Ihr darauf basierendes Buch Learning from Las Vegas gilt bis heute als Schlüsseltext des Urbanismus im 20. Jahrhundert. Eine faszinierende Auswahl an Bildern und Filmstills, welche die Studie illustrieren, wurde 2008 im seit längerem vergriffenen Buch Las Vegas Studio erstmals überhaupt grossformatig in Farbe und bester Druckqualität veröffentlicht. Nun wird diese, als eines der schönsten Schweizer Bücher ausgezeichnete, grosszügig illustrierte Hommage an Las Vegas in einer broschierten englischen Ausgabe neu aufgelegt.
