About the author

Friedrich Lottspeich ist Leiter der Arbeitsgruppe Proteinanalytik am Max-Planck-Institut für Biochemie in Martinsried bei München. Auf seinem Arbeitsgebiet, der Charakterisierung von Proteinen im Mikromaßstab, hat er sich weltweit einen Namen gemacht. Er ist Präsident der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Proteomforschung.
