Street vended food is an important source of microbial infection. Present manuscript deals with the isolation, identification, characterization and antibiotics sensitivity pattern of Enterobacteriaceae in street vended food of Jaipur city. Enterobacteriaceae had shown variable susceptibility and resistance patterns in response to different antibiotics. The mounting resistance against antibiotics is currently one of the foremost challenges to treat food borne infections. Therefore, both prevention and efficient curative measures should be adopted.

Dr. Anupam Jyoti obtained his PhD from CSIR-CDRI, India. His work was focussed on Identification of nitric oxide synthase interacting proteins and their role in neutrophil extracellular trap formation.Dr. Anupam has strong publication and presentation records in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences/ meetings.
