About the author

Bel Ami, geb. 1957 in der jetzigen Slovakei, ging früh in die Vereinigten Staaten, um dort zu studieren. Erste Erfahrungen sammelte er als Journalist, Drehbuchautor und Art Director einer Werbeagentur. Als Videofilmproduzent und Fotograf begann er erste Erfolge in den USA zu haben. 1994 erhielt er in Hollywood den 'Gay Erotic Video Award', das Gegenstück zum Oscar für das beste internationale Video. Bel Ami veröffentliche seine Bilder bisher hauptsächlich in amerikanischen Magazinen und hat dort mit seinen Fotos junger Männer Kultstatus errungen.
