Coryphantha Cacti

Cacti of the genus Coryphantha are small to medium-large, globular or short-stemmed cacti from Mexico and the southern United States, and they grow in the arid steppes and deserts between the Sierra Madre Oriental and the Sierra Madre Occidental. This book describes their morphological characteristics and systematics in detail, according to currently valid botanical principles. Thanks to the wealth of information collected from field surveys, photographic documentation and descriptions, it has been possible for the first time to develop a complete identification key for the genus. This first complete presentation of the genus is a valuable reference work for all cactus enthusiasts.
Dr. med. Reto F. Dicht, a general practitioner, and Adrian D. Lüthy, a trustee, have been cactus enthusiasts since their youth, and through specialist articles and international seminars have become recognised as experts on the genus Coryphantha.
