Our paper aims to demonstrate that the economic organization is a species of living logical system, with the purpose of increasing the comprehensibility of economic phenomena. Considering this aim, in the first part of the paper, we have illustrated the theories enunciated thus far concerning the economic organization, and we proposed, for the ongoing scientific debate, a definition of the economic organization and we have elaborated logical criteria for the classification of the organizations and, considering this classification, we have established six classes of organizations. Next, we have presented the concepts of living logical system and system. We have approached the living logical system via the theory of complexity, ellaborating an entire array of definitions of the concepts of nonlinearity, attractor, bifurcation, entropy, dissipativity, evolution and autopoiesis which are attributes of the living logical system. Not in the least, we have constructed two theoremes, and their converse theoremes. In the end, we have presented several scientific consequences of the living logical economic system paradigm, meaning methodological and epistemological consequences.
