Repairs in Prosthodontics

The dentist is often confronted with patient who comes with broken prosthesis. Many of these damages can be easily repaired without having to remake new prosthesis. Unfortunately there is a tendency to regard repairs as constant evil, without any necessity to find out cause of breakage. Factors that contributes to breakage and failure of prosthesis are discussed. Recognization of these factors and their preventions or correction will result in prosthesis that is physiologically and functionally acceptable for patient for extended period without any problem.
