She received her Ph.D.,(CS) in 2007 from Periyar University,MCA from Madras University in 1995 and B.Sc(Maths)from Madurai Kamaraj University in 1992.She had published more than 30 articles.I.Shahina Begam finished BES,MCA,M.Phil and now doing research(Dravidian University).She was published 7 articles.She is working in the post of AsstProfessor.
