It analyzes the development of the right to religious liberty from the colonial era up to the ratification and promulgation of the 2010 Kenyan Constitution. Notably, it seeks to establish and illustrate the link between religious liberty with other fundamental rights and liberties such as the freedom of conscience, opinion, and belief. The book also analyzes the various approaches towards the definition of religion for constitutional purposes and makes a proposition for the best approach to such a definition.

About the author










The author is a graduate of Moi University School of Law with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Honors degree.He has published widely in the area of human rights and religious liberty. The author has also been privileged to attend various human rights fora where he has garnered sufficient knowledge in the field of human rights and religious liberty.
