Description

This architectural guide sees itself as a companion providing information on a selected number of construction sites and buildings and investigates the role of contemporary, "new" architecture in Graz.
The guide was curated by an international editorial committee and explores the components of a contemporary architectural profile through specially planned round tours. The result is an informative situation analysis of the architectural scene in Graz from 1990 until today. The book presents exciting architectural positions of the so-called "Graz School" as well as works by later architects leading up to the present day. The selected project descriptions are organised in terms of content and also contain additional material such as plans and illustrations. The suggested round tours are also centred around specific themes.
