Kari is one of the unique genetic resource found in Chitral. the uniqueness of the breed is that it gestates in a shorter interval of three months to five months, which is unique for the specie on the globe. The Kari is a mini size sheep, producing fine wool. Two research projects have been completed and the third is on-going, which is expected to yield more precise data and could give the future course of action for research.
