Margaret Brandman's 'Contemporary Piano Method' is designed to equip the student with the necessary skills to play both Classical and Modern music with ease and understanding.
The methodology incorporates a variety of progressive learning modalities, including the interval approach and multi-key learning. In this level of the series (Level 2A) students will gain experience in all major and minor scales and keys, plus develop an understanding of the harmonic structure of music, all the while applying these skills to a tuneful set of graded pieces in varying styles.

About the author










Margaret Brandman's career in music as composer, pianist, recording artist, music educator, arranger and writer on music education spans more than 45 years. She has combined her compositional interests with her interest in accelerated learning techniques for music. Margaret has composed a large range of pieces for a variety of instruments and voice which have been released on several CD's produced by Parma Recordings USA. Her concert works for piano, voice, chamber ensembles and orchestra receive both live performances and international airplay on a regular basis.

Margaret is writer and publisher of many music education materials in her contemporary series of education materials, which range from books for junior students, to text books for high school and tertiary study. Her catalogue contains over 100 published books and compositions. At the time of writing, she is continuing her career as composer, recording artist, performer, and music educator.
