As part of social mission, there is the need to assist the poor in generating employment and income to reduce poverty and hunger. The aim of this book is to examine the processing practices of small scale palm oil and to improve the value for premium price. The proposed recommendations should contribute to further research and improvement on palm oil processing and marketing to break the vicious cycle of poverty through entrepreneurship for economic development. Research was undertaken through World Vision International in Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira District of Ghana.

About the author










William Asamoah Owusu is currently pursuing a PhD in Entrepreneurship at Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium. He holds MBA inMarketing, Associate PG Cert. in Microfinance and BSc Agribusiness Management. He lectures Entrepreneurship and Innovation and was the Director of Educational Support Services at Regent University College in Ghana.
