The first ten years of childhood are critically important. They are the foundation of future health, growth and development. During this period, children learn more quickly then they receive love and affection, attention and mental stimulation as well as nutritious meals and good health care.This book on School health programme is based on a research study conducted by the author for doctoral degree in education. It consists of seven chapters. Chapter I provide the basic knowledge of Health and its importance. Chapter II Cover the component of School Health programme. Dr.Singh is Assistant Professor in Education Faculty, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Her qualifications are M.Sc. (Chemistry), M.Ed., NET.She has written many research papers/articles.She has completed two research projects.
