Description

This book will serve as a basis for the planning of the total school physical environment, especially in developing countries where issues of financing, access, equity, quality and relevance remain elusive. Despite all these challenges, great emphasis and resources continue to be channeled towards provision of human and instructional resources at the expense the 'non-scholastic' physical facilities that are known to influence user choice and overall learner academic achievement. To realize educational aims and objectives, it is important that educational facility planners, school administrators and managers, teachers and all other stakeholders in the education sector are familiar with the contents of this book.
