Rapid economic development gives enormous pressure on energy processing system which liberates few unacceptable byproducts that directly or indirectly involved to edifice unpleasant environment. Definitely, these byproducts depend on quality of crude oil and the opted processing system from which it get crosses but periodic monitoring of different environmental parameters of air, water and other contamination source like sulphur recovery should be acknowledged. It is observed that presently energy sector industries in India are following pinnacle growth without giving any satisfactory attention towards their impacts on environmental segment which becomes a subject of concern. Hence, there is urgent need to sketch a parallel path on which economic and environment can run parallel that may be achievable through opting updated technology, suitable processing system and through better management practices.

Mr. Vijay B. Yadav is an environmental professional, have obtained M.Sc. (Tech) degree in Environmental Science and Technology from Banaras Hindu University. He has also qualified UGC NET twice in environmental science domain. His research area encompasses with waste water analysis, application of CNTs, ambient air monitoring and SODAR application.
