"Children are the future of nation" this phrase is applicable to all developing countries. A child who is physically weak will be mentally weak and cannot be expected to take full advantage of schooling. The diet of the school going child should, therefore, receive first attention. Several programs have been launched by the Government to combat this problem i.e. Mid-Day Meal. This book is a little effort to evaluate the mid-day meal program in schools of Patna-Bihar, India region. Evaluation includes quality & quantity, regularity, proper distribution, interest of students in studies, inspection of food etc.
