Effect of supplementary feeding and GnRH in Zebu heifers - How to reduce age of puberty

This book discusses about how to raise Zebu (Indian) heifers economically and effectively using feeding supplementation and hormonal treatment to attain their proper growth and early age at puberty. In Indian Zebu heifer the normal age at puberty were observed to be 30 month but using the protocol suggested in this book we can reduce age of puberty to 10 months. This book explain in details how and when to achieve this target using NRC feeding regimen with ad lib fresh seasonal greens along with fortnightly GnRH (Gonadotrophin releasing hormone) administration.
