Keeping this in view it has been proposed to undertake comprehensive study on the effect of varying rearing temperature regimes on the fecundity, incubation period of eggs, hatchability, performance of larvae and pupae, silk producing potential and certain biochemical constituents in different tissues of Bombyx mori nistari. The out come of this study is expected to have tremendous ecological and applied significance and the knowledge derived from this study will be helpful in the rearing of silkworm at farmer's level.
