The Project was to determine the differences in biochemical properties of Sesame varieties with different seed coat colours and to assess the possible biochemical changes after one year of storage. The fresh harvest during the year 2009 was evaluated for various biochemical traits.The same samples were stored for one year and were again evaluated for same biochemical parameters to predict the rate of seed deterioration during storage in one year.
