Interim-Management is a novel and highly relevant topic within humanresource management. Academic analysis so far has been focused on working time and contract flexibility for non-managerial employees. Not surprisingly, academic knowledge, in particular theories and empirical findings on Interim-Management is still limited in particular when analyzing this topic with innovation and in an international comparative context.Building on explorative research of interim-management deployments in an innovation context, the author derives theoretical informed and practical a process model which considers both hard&soft facts for overcoming innovation barriers successfully. Potential interim-management deployments are discussed in the light of all managerial key functions of the supply chain subject to innovation in a broader sense. About the author
Dr. Jürgen Bruns was born in 1966 in Rheda-Wiedenbrück. He gained a Masters Degree from the University of Paderborn and followed international study programs at the Partner Universities Nottingham and Tallinn where he gained a PhD in Economics. While working for 6 years in public accounting (Arthur Andersen / Price Waterhouse) he also made his professional exam on taxation followed by various management assignments in the automotive, chemical and food-processing industry.
