About the author

Jared Hargrave is a freelance outdoor writer and author of Backcountry Ski & Snowboard Routes: Utah. His articles have appeared in Backcountry Magazine, Ascent Backcountry Snow Journal, Utah Adventure Journal, and Mountain Gazette, and he is the founder of UtahOutside.com. In addition, he produces KSL Outdoors, a half-hour television show broadcast on Utah's NBC affiliate KSL 5. An avid mountain biker, Hargrave hits the singletrack in Park City every week from April through October. He lives in Salt Lake City.
