Ingeborg Weber-Kellermann, geb. 1918 in Berlin, gest. 1993 in Marburg. Studium von Volkskunde, Geschichte, Vorgeschichte, Germanistik und Anthropologie. 1940 Promotion in Volkskunde bei Adolf Spamer, 1946-60 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an dessen Volkskunde-Institut an der Deutschen Akademie der Wissenschaften, Berlin. 1960 Übersiedlung nach Marburg, 1963 Habilitation in Volkskunde und Ethnosoziologie. Ab 1968 Professorin für Europäische Ethnologie an der Philipps-Universität Marburg. Zahlreiche Veröffentlichungen.
