For 20 years, Robert Stone made his living as a modern-day pirate: deep-sea diving, fishing, treasure-hunting and smuggling. He spent 10 years smuggling illicit fuel in Africa, until his criminal empire came crashing down thanks to a friend's betrayal and the US law enforcement. This is the true story of his adventures.

About the author

Canadian born Robert Stone was a serial entrepreneur--a very enterprising individual, mostly on the wrong side of the law, who spent twenty-five years operating legitimate companies and criminal operations all over the world. He had a career as a pioneer oilfield saturation diver, commercial long line fisherman, treasure hunter and smuggler of marijuana, diamonds and oil. Since his release from prison he has lived in Europe raising his young family on his own after suffering the bereavement of his beloved wife, narrowly surviving cancer and trying to atone for his past while guiding his children to a better future.
