This is a monograph on modeling methodology models focused on policies for sustainable development. Sustainable policies are important because the patterns of the historical development of the world s industrial, commercial, and economic systems of contemporary society are not projectable simply not viable over the future. We examine a new concept of societal models, called model ontology . We will see how this can be used to construct information architectures for information systems centered upon specific policy issues.
