Summary

This 1865 compilation contains three works by the German anthropologist Johann Friedrich Blumenbach, two memoirs, and an account of the specimens he had accumulated at Goettingen. Blumenbach is best remembered for his work in physical anthropology: the first (1775) and third (1795) editions of his major work are given here.
