Liew Kai Khiun is Assistant Professor in Broadcast & Cinema Studies at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has been researching and teaching about transnational popular culture flows in East and South East Asia for more than a decade. His work has been published in several journals including the International Journal of Cultural Studies, Media, Culture and Society and Sojourn.
