About the author

Nancy graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, and became a a teacher of English literature after a rather lengthy sabbatical to raise her six children. During her years at home, she helped with homework, packed lunches, healed the sick, and gave advice to the occasional child with a broken heart. From all this experience, Nancy wrote articles depicting her adventures as a mother for Scope Magazine, a women's periodical published by the American Lutheran Church, and traveled extensively as a speaker to women's groups of the church. This is Nancy's first novel.
